This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in project management for a significant federal government contract.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager, Task Leads, and clients to effectively plan and manage tasks.
• Oversee scope, team dynamics, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control to meet project goals and deliverables.
• Manage projects following industry best practices.
• Serve as an expert in task management and tracking.
• Communicate efficiently with clients, management, and team members.
• Identify potential project risks and formulate mitigation strategies.
• Manage competing priorities and organize work efficiently.
• Direct, organize, and coordinate contract delivery planning and production with support from the Task Lead.
• Facilitate collaboration and issue resolution among technical experts, developers, program teams, vendors, and client stakeholders.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures, knowledge management tools, help desk workflows, and reporting dashboards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Science.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• At least nine years of experience managing mid to large-scale projects.
• Experience overseeing government contracts for consulting services in Health IT/informatics, public health informatics, healthcare, or related technical fields.
• Proven experience leading or coordinating technical support, help desk, service management, or ServiceNow implementation activities in complex project settings.
• Experience in developing and managing operational workflows, escalation protocols, service-level expectations, and performance metrics.
• Skilled in coordinating issue resolution across technical, operational, and client-facing teams.
• Experience managing diverse project types, including complex software engineering initiatives.
• Familiarity with SAFe Agile methodology.
• Proficiency with Jira.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with public health, healthcare systems, and/or Health IT projects.
• Ability to thrive in a challenging environment with multiple diverse teams.
• If required by the project, ability to successfully complete and obtain a federal Position of Public Trust Level 5 background investigation, meet all eligibility criteria, and maintain the required clearance throughout employment.
