Project Manager – Electrical Engineering Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create a comprehensive consulting project execution plan tailored to meet the needs of clients.

• Evaluate deliverables, including reports and studies, to ensure quality and accuracy.

• Guide the project team by delivering clear instructions and outlining technical methodologies.

• Oversee hours worked and ensure that operations align with the budget and project scope.

• Cultivate staff expertise through dedicated training and mentoring programs.

• Draft proposals for potential consulting project opportunities.

• Manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining a high standard of quality.

• Occasionally travel to project sites and client offices as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering (other engineering fields or finance/economics may be accepted).

• At least 15 years of experience within the power industry.

• Experience as an owner's engineer, independent engineer, and/or design engineer in the development and execution of power generation projects.

• Proven ability to manage teams of engineers effectively.

• In-depth experience and technical expertise in various power generation technologies, including solar, battery energy storage, wind, and thermal.

• Experience conducting feasibility studies related to power projects.

• Background in long-term power supply and transmission planning projects is an advantage.

• Familiarity with project finance or financial modeling for power projects is a plus.

• Knowledge of project contracts such as power purchase agreements, asset transfer agreements, and EPC contracts is beneficial.

• Previous experience in a consulting capacity is advantageous.
