Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Senegal.

📋 Description

• Lead the successful execution of client projects from initiation through to completion.

• Oversee team coordination, manage project scope and timelines, and ensure an outstanding client experience.

• Assist in defining and reviewing Statements of Work (SoW).

• Facilitate engagement planning and guarantee a seamless project kickoff following client approval.

• Proactively manage project scope, timelines, risks, and issues.

• Take ownership of comprehensive project delivery, ensuring completion on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Provide consistent status updates, reports, and insights to both clients and internal stakeholders.

• Keep precise project documentation in alignment with internal standards.

• Effectively plan and allocate resources, aligning consultants’ skills with project requirements.

• Collaborate with local, regional, and global teams to obtain the necessary expertise.

• Manage external vendors when necessary.

• Implement governance frameworks, tools, and best practices for delivery.

• Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout the duration of the project.

• Cultivate and sustain strong client relationships.

• Manage client expectations, issues, and escalations effectively.

• Collect feedback and drive ongoing improvements to client satisfaction.

• Lead post-project evaluations.

• Monitor project budgets, margins, and resource utilization closely.

• Track time spent against estimates and escalate any discrepancies.

• Provide clear financial reporting to clients and internal teams.

• Contribute to enhancing delivery processes, tools, and methodologies.

• Stay updated on project management best practices and industry trends.

• Obtain and keep relevant certifications, including Atlassian certifications.

• Collaborate with the Delivery Manager, consulting teams, Sales, practice leaders, Finance, other Project Managers, and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ideally possess 5 to 10 years of experience in a Professional Services or delivery setting within a software vendor or consulting firm.

• Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end projects, including fixed-price engagements.

• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Experience in project financial management, including budget monitoring, margin analysis, forecasts, and implementing corrective measures.

• Familiarity with the Atlassian ecosystem is a significant advantage.

• Experience in one or more areas such as IT Service Management (ITSM), Project & Portfolio Management (PPM), Integration, or Cloud Migration is a strong plus.

• Possess a structured and pragmatic approach to tasks.

• Ability to foresee risks and proactively drive solutions while resolving issues.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Knowledge of Agile, Lean, Kanban, and/or structured delivery methodologies.

• Fluent in English.

• Candidates must be based in Senegal.
