This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Compose risk management documentation
• Oversee the operations of designated risk management initiatives, epidemiological studies, and/or registries
• Collaborate with clients and work alongside scientific leadership and internal UBC teams
• Engage in projects related to epidemiology, registries, and risk management
• Draft, design, and create REMS, KAB protocols, surveys, reports, abstracts, and other risk management materials
• Contribute to internal and client project teams and participate in meetings
• Formulate observational program protocols
• Organize project activities and monitor projects, timelines, tasks, and deliverables
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients
• Offer insights to Contracts Management for revisions to scope-of-work and budgets
• Relay completion of deliverables and milestones to Finance for invoicing purposes
• Create project timelines, coordinate meetings, and document meeting minutes
• Assist in proposal development, including crafting service descriptions and budgets
• Attend client meetings, bid defenses, industry events, and relevant gatherings; present at industry meetings as appropriate
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, and/or public health or a related field
• Experience in protocol writing, study design, and operations is advantageous
• Familiarity with clinical trials, drug development, and medical and scientific terminology is beneficial
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Capability to work independently while also thriving in a small team setting
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently
• Understanding of project management techniques and tools
• Professional, organized, detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy, self-motivated, and quality-driven
• Enjoys a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn about various health-related and research fields
• Proficient computer skills, particularly in word processing with tables and figures
• Availability to work after hours and on weekends if necessary to meet critical deadlines
