This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Oversee LENs Hungary and other regenerative agriculture initiatives in collaboration with farmers, partners, and PbN agronomists.
• Manage project plans, budgets, timelines, risks, and documentation efficiently.
• Ensure timely delivery of contractual obligations while meeting quality standards.
• Recruit and assist LENs farmers, establish agricultural networks, and promote the adoption of regenerative practices.
• Organize farmer engagement activities and utilize feedback to enhance implementation processes.
• Serve as the primary contact for partners and funders in Hungary.
• Coordinate meetings, site visits, and progress updates effectively.
• Contribute to the development of proposals, budgets, presentations, funding partnerships, and new landscape initiatives.
• Assist in monitoring and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain precise records of farmer and project data.
• Prepare timely reports for stakeholders.
• Monitor expenditures, verify deliverables from contractors and suppliers, and assist in forecasting and financial reporting.
• Create a delivery plan, budget overview, and monitoring priorities for the Hungary portfolio.
• Coordinate project delivery, farmer engagement, and communication with stakeholders.
• Identify partnership opportunities for regenerative agriculture within Hungary.
• Establish priorities for the upcoming year in collaboration with the Programme Manager for Regenerative Agriculture.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Rural Development, Geography, Sustainability, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five years of experience in project management.
• Proven experience in managing multi-stakeholder partnerships.
• Proficient in project and budget management, monitoring, evaluation and reporting, as well as data management, analysis, and interpretation.
• Strong organizational, stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills, with cultural sensitivity.
• Commercial acumen, sound judgment, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
• Working proficiency in both Hungarian and English.
• Possession of a valid driving license.
• Access to a personal vehicle.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout Hungary, including regular visits to farms and project sites.
• PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent project management certification is a significant advantage.
• Experience working with farmers and agricultural stakeholders or with grant or donor-funded projects is preferred.
• A solid understanding of agricultural systems, sustainability challenges, and principles and practices of regenerative agriculture is highly desirable.
