Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the integration project from its initial planning phase through to implementation and stabilization.

• Create the project plan, timeline, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and criteria for success.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across technology, product, operations, security, architecture, infrastructure, risk, compliance, and business functions.

• Act as the main point of contact for all stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and prompt decision-making.

• Lead status meetings, executive committees, technical discussions, and governance ceremonies.

• Supervise system integrations, APIs, transaction flows, data exchanges, credentials, environments, and external dependencies.

• Ensure the planning and execution of development, integrated testing, user acceptance testing, certification, deployment, and post-production processes.

• Coordinate the creation of technical and functional documentation for integration validation.

• Identify, document, and resolve risks, issues, blockers, scope changes, and impacts on the schedule.

• Manage the backlog of outstanding items, ensuring each action has a designated owner and deadline.

• Assist in developing contingency, rollback, and operational continuity plans.

• Generate executive status reports, dashboards, and tracking metrics.

• Aid in prioritization decisions, delivery sequencing, and conflict resolution.

• Ensure adherence to security, privacy, regulatory compliance, and governance requirements within the financial sector.

• Facilitate the transition to operations, including documentation, training, assisted support, and stabilization.

• Deliver the integrated plan, timeline, responsibility matrix, governance framework, dependency/risk/issue/decision maps, integration plan, testing strategy, deployment plan, operational documentation, and ensure a smooth production launch.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager leading system integration, financial platform, payment method, or banking service projects.

• Experience managing projects that involve multiple companies, vendors, and business functions.

• Familiarity with integrations through APIs, webhooks, messaging, files, gateways, or other system-to-system communication methods.

• Knowledge of projects related to payments, cards, acquiring, Pix, Banking as a Service, or financial products.

• Experience in planning integrated testing, user acceptance testing, certification, and production deployment.

• Capability to manage complex schedules, critical dependencies, and multiple concurrent workstreams.

• Strong proficiency in risk, issue, change, scope, and executive communication management practices.

• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.

• Excellent skills in preparing presentations, executive reports, action plans, and project documentation.

• Advanced or fluent English for effective interaction with international teams and stakeholders.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, organizational, and negotiation abilities.

• Preferred: experience with card schemes, issuers, acquirers, payment processors, or financial institutions.

• Preferred: knowledge of card issuance, authorization, capture, settlement, chargebacks, tokenization, or card lifecycle management.

• Preferred: experience with card-scheme certification and payment integration acceptance testing.

• Preferred: familiarity with PCI DSS, Brazil's LGPD, fraud prevention, information security, and regulatory controls.

• Preferred: knowledge of products and APIs from financial institutions or payment companies.

• Preferred: experience with high-criticality projects that impact customers, financial transactions, or revenue.

• Preferred: PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, SAFe, PRINCE2, or similar certifications.

• Preferred: knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, MS Project, Smartsheet, or Power BI.
