This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee all project activities for the Harvesting the Future of Naturals initiative in India.
• Direct project planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, ensuring key indicators and outcomes are tracked.
• Manage collaborations with local implementing partners, processors, and suppliers.
• Facilitate partner coordination meetings, learning workshops, field visits, and General Assembly meetings as required.
• Create progress reports, case studies, internal updates, and various project materials.
• Lead procurement initiatives, including the development of Terms of Reference and RFPs.
• Conduct field-level assessments, including worker profiling, grievance mechanism mapping, wage benchmarking, observations, and desktop verification.
• Facilitate supply chain mapping and visit different supply chain tiers for assessments.
• Implement systems for monitoring and remediating child labor.
• Provide training and capacity-building support on HRDD, supply chain mapping, OHS, and gender equity.
• Test traceability tools and systems for farm-level data collection.
• Support suppliers in developing and executing action plans.
• Manage coalition and advisory committees, preparing meeting agendas and minutes.
• Plan and forecast project expenditures and activities to ensure compliance with contracts and budgets.
• Supply financial data to the Finance team along with updates on project administration and finances.
• Act as FLA’s chief point of contact in India for project stakeholders.
• Coordinate with fragrance houses, processors, suppliers, and community actors.
• Represent FLA at conferences, meetings, and events; assist with external communications and provide translation support as necessary.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in managing multi-stakeholder projects related to children’s rights, human rights due diligence, responsible sourcing, living wage/living income, and occupational safety and health.
• Experience in project monitoring and evaluation.
• Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office Suite; familiarity with MacOS is preferred.
• Strong writing abilities, including the capacity to author reports.
• Competent in accurately analyzing large volumes of information and data.
• Deep commitment to the FLA mission of safeguarding workers’ rights.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Established ability to handle confidential and sensitive issues.
