This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Act as the Project Manager for one or several projects under the DEAN program

• Oversee the daily management of assigned project tasks

• Ensure that deliverables are achieved within scope, on time, and within budget

• Plan, initiate, manage, execute, and finalize assigned projects that support VHA's integrated healthcare system

• Utilize structured project management methodologies that align with PMI standards and federal contracting requirements

• Provide project-level status updates to the Task Order Project Lead / Program Manager

• Identify and escalate risks and issues while recommending mitigation strategies

• Create and maintain project schedules, risk and issue logs, action item trackers, and status reports

• Collaborate with internal project teams, VA program offices, and partner contractors

• Coordinate efforts, resolve dependencies, and drive the execution of assigned workstreams

• Track project performance metrics

• Participate in lessons-learned reviews

• Support the continuous improvement of project execution processes in line with VHA operational standards

• A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in successfully managing a large-scale program that includes multiple projects

• At least 4 years of experience within a large corporation, government agency, or healthcare organization

• BA/BS degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field

• Experience in planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing out programs or projects that support an agency's mission

• Capability to obtain and maintain a VA Position of Public Trust clearance (Tier 2 / MBI)

• Adherence to VA information security, privacy, system access, VA PIV credentialing, and onboarding requirements

• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship

• Employment eligibility verification for federal contractors (E-Verify)

• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or an equivalent quality certification is required at the time of hire

• Familiarity with the standard operations of VHA is preferred

• Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with organizational leadership is preferred

• Knowledge of the DEAN mission and its functions is preferred
