Implementation Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive implementation projects from initiation to go-live and stabilization for health system clients.

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and risk management logs.

• Lead meetings with customer IT, clinical operations, and technical teams.

• Act as the main point of contact for the project.

• Organize and verify technical inputs, integration specifications, data feeds, and configuration needs.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and clinical teams to ensure seamless transitions and timely execution.

• Convert technical requirements for non-technical audiences and vice versa.

• Oversee integrations involving Epic, Cerner, and Meditech while identifying and escalating any blockers.

• Manage project documentation, requirements tracking, decision logs, status updates, risk mitigation strategies, and post-go-live materials.

• Create repeatable processes and enhance implementation playbooks and best practices.

• Monitor and report on project KPIs such as activation timelines, milestone compliance, and customer preparedness.

• Guarantee a smooth transition to Support teams following implementation.

• Cultivate relationships with clinical and operational leaders at client locations.

• Assist in workflow adoption, training readiness, and change management strategies.

• Ensure stakeholders comprehend project expectations, roles, and timelines.

• Foster customer accountability to maintain project schedules and deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience in project management within healthcare, SaaS implementations, or health IT.

• In-depth knowledge of healthcare settings, including clinical operations, IT processes, and data integrations.

• Proven track record of managing multiple complex projects concurrently.

• Exceptional communication, meeting facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Demonstrated proficiency in driving accountability and addressing competing priorities.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, or Monday.com.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, uncertain startup atmosphere.

• Preferred experience in implementing solutions with EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.

• Preferred qualifications include PMP, CSM, or other project management certifications.

• Background in optimizing clinical workflows or healthcare operations is advantageous.

• Prior experience in Series A-C SaaS or health-tech firms is preferred.
