This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.
• Assist in managing projects across various Sports and Commercial sectors.
• Draft scopes of work, project pricing and estimates, correspondence, and documentation.
• Provide support to Sales in generating project proposals, quotes, and technical presentations.
• Initiate and organize contract documents, subcontractor agreements, and general project correspondence.
• Create and oversee project budgets and timelines.
• Manage standard orders and custom projects under the supervision of Project Managers, which includes installation and subcontractor recruitment.
• Coordinate internal project tasks among Sales, Engineering, systems design, project accounting, material requisition, manufacturing/product throughput, shipping, and management feedback.
• Collaborate with Sales, clients, and project team members while contributing suggestions for product and process enhancements.
• Oversee or assist with on-site project installations.
• Travel to project locations for event support, installation, and on-site supervision after demonstrating satisfactory performance.
• Execute other assigned duties as needed to fulfill customer expectations.
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Preferred candidates should be registered for at least 12 credits.
• Ideal candidates are in their sophomore or junior year of study.
• Strong academic performance with an acceptable GPA is required.
• Unofficial transcripts or web-generated transcripts must be submitted with the application.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.
• Strong organizational abilities are a must.
• Self-motivated individuals will thrive in this role.
• Willingness to travel by air and ground is required.
• Must comply with the Daktronics Driver Eligibility Policy, as verified through a motor vehicle record check.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
• Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.; Daktronics does not sponsor, renew, or extend immigration visas for this position.
• Prior construction experience is preferred.
• Technical or mechanical interests, hobbies, and experiences are beneficial.
• Ability to consistently and reliably work scheduled hours is required.
