This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Oversee the transition of executed leases from signing to construction mobilization.
• Collaborate with the pre-lease team to compile and process each signed agreement.
• Conduct handover evaluations based on client specifications, ensuring that transfer items are documented or noted as gaps with designated owners and resolution timelines.
• Organize and co-facilitate onsite project initiation meetings alongside the client project leader.
• Develop launch materials and presentations.
• Allocate tasks and monitor their completion.
• Review schedules and costs as the design details evolve.
• Integrate specialist findings into the site baseline and reporting framework.
• Follow up on resultant actions with the developer.
• Address outstanding items from due diligence to ensure they are formally resolved within the launch period.
• Lead the weekly project meetings, design coordination, and developer communication throughout mobilization.
• Keep the action log updated and provide inputs for milestone reporting.
• Manage daily interactions with the developer, client project lead, and internal specialists.
• Transition each site to the on-site delivery team during mobilization, including the current baseline, open item register, and accepted-risk documentation.
• Contribute to the establishment of the team handover checklist, launch format, and reporting standards.
• Apply insights gained from previous projects to future sites.
• Oversee two to three sites simultaneously, each at varying stages of development.
• Comply with relevant SOX control responsibilities.
• Travel approximately 6–10 days monthly for in-person launch meetings.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Preference for candidates with data center experience in delivery, preconstruction, or development.
• Experience in mission-critical facilities or complex technical buildings may be considered if transferable.
• Familiarity with data center construction and the necessary information and documentation for construction mobilization.
• Experience in project handover, preconstruction coordination, change control, and tracking open items.
• Capability to interpret and act upon schedule and cost assessments provided by specialists.
• Ability to address resultant issues with a developer effectively.
• Skill in managing multiple concurrent projects at various stages.
• Proficiency in obtaining information and commitments from parties outside of direct reporting lines.
• Competence in leading meetings with senior stakeholders and securing assigned actions with deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to evolving standards and contribute to their development.
• Technical aptitude to read, comprehend, and communicate contractual obligations, including construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide concise reports to senior client stakeholders.
• Proficiency in technology, including MS Suite and Google Workspace.
• Understanding and adherence to site HSSE policies.
• General technological competence.
