This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the transition of executed leases from signing through to construction initiation.
• Collaborate with the pre-lease team to consolidate and organize each executed deal.
• Conduct handover checks against client specifications and monitor transfer gaps to designated owners along with resolution timelines.
• Prepare materials and briefings, co-leading project launch meetings on-site with the client project lead.
• Allocate and monitor project launch tasks until completion.
• Review schedules and costs as design details progress.
• Integrate specialist insights into the site baseline and reporting framework.
• Follow up on resultant actions with the developer.
• Ensure that due diligence items are closed within the launch timeframe.
• Facilitate weekly project calls, coordinate design efforts, and manage developer interactions during mobilization.
• Keep action logs and generate milestone reporting inputs in a uniform portfolio format.
• Handle daily interactions with the developer, the client project lead, and internal specialists.
• Transition each site to the on-site delivery team during mobilization, which includes the current baseline, open item register, and accepted-risk documentation.
• Assist in developing the team handover checklist, launch format, and reporting standards.
• Implement lessons learned into future site projects.
• Comply with SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
• Manage two to three sites concurrently at various stages of development.
• Travel around 6–10 days each month, including in-person launch meetings.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in data centers is essential in delivery, preconstruction, or development.
• Background in mission-critical and complex technical facilities will be considered if transferable.
• Familiarity with data center construction, including the information and documentation required by an incoming delivery team during mobilization.
• Experience with project handover, preconstruction coordination, change management, and tracking open items.
• Capability to interpret and act upon schedule and cost evaluations provided by specialists, addressing any resulting issues with the developer.
• Proficiency in managing multiple concurrent projects at different stages and obtaining information and commitments from parties who do not report directly to this role.
• Skill in leading meetings with senior stakeholders and securing assigned actions with owners and deadlines.
• Ability to work within a developing standard and contribute to its establishment.
• Technical expertise to read, comprehend, and communicate contract requirements, including construction drawings and specifications.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including concise reporting to senior client stakeholders.
• Proficiency in technology, including MS Suite and Google Workspace.
• Understanding and adherence to site HSSE policies.
• General technological proficiency.
• A degree is not mandatory.
