Project Estimator II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive project cost estimates, encompassing conceptual, preliminary, and definitive estimates.

• Conduct conceptual engineering design and produce preliminary construction plans to assist in estimating scope quantification.

• Work collaboratively with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to evaluate project specifications, drawings, and documentation.

• Execute value engineering analysis to pinpoint opportunities for cost savings.

• Establish and maintain estimation tools, databases, and methodologies.

• Perform risk assessments and formulate contingency plans.

• Present cost estimates and value engineering alternatives to senior management, stakeholders, and clients.

• Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.

• Monitor project costs and variances, updating estimates throughout the project's lifecycle.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

• Over 6 years of relevant experience.

• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.

• Candidates for positions that are subject to export control regulations must fulfill the applicable United States and comparable country requirements.
