This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Lead asset enhancement initiatives for the current operating fleet.

• Ensure adherence to licensing standards.

• Provide engineering analyses that support AES projects, including EPUs, MELLLA+, thermal power optimizations, and additional AES engineering assessments.

• Take on project leadership for engineering analyses within a production-focused engineering analysis team.

• Guarantee the timely delivery of engineering studies, technical reports, correspondence, documentation, and calculations.

• Oversee daily operations and maintain schedules for engineering tasks.

• Conduct delivery meetings and oversight to ensure the dependable provision of high-quality analyses.

• Collaborate with the plant Technical Leader to address and implement solutions for complex technical challenges encountered during reload analyses.

• Offer and facilitate technical mentoring for the development of transient analysis staff and knowledge management.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, or similar).

• At least 4 years of pertinent experience in a technology or engineering position.

• Remote candidates will be considered if qualified.

• Capability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if necessary.

• Legally permitted to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of a drug screening, if required.

• Familiarity with engineering analysis and licensing procedures.

• Relevant experience in BWR engineering analysis.

• Knowledge of standard engineering work planning, scheduling, and independent work requiring the application of engineering techniques.

• In-depth understanding of BWR systems and integrated plant responses.

• Comprehensive knowledge of nuclear engineering principles, including nuclear physics, thermal hydraulics, and mechanical design as they pertain to BWR.

• Experience in standard engineering work planning and design process methodologies.

• Ability to communicate with credibility and confidence.
