πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Manage a portfolio or program of clinical studies along with the Project Managers assigned to the awarded studies.

β€’ Ensure that studies comply with therapeutic-area and client-specific requirements.

β€’ Represent the organization to clients and uphold customer satisfaction.

β€’ Effectively communicate program deliverables.

β€’ Ensure that studies adhere to quality standards, SOPs, GCPs, ICH guidelines, and relevant federal and local regulations.

β€’ Oversee executed contracts and manage financial aspects, including study budgets and expenses.

β€’ Monitor and assess project progress utilizing timelines and analytical tools.

β€’ Maintain knowledge of therapeutic areas and client-specific details for the assigned portfolio.

β€’ Implement study-specific learnings across the assigned studies and clients.

β€’ Lead contingency planning and strategies for risk mitigation.

β€’ Provide operational input for proposal development and pricing.

β€’ Promote performance enhancement, operational efficiencies, and innovative strategies.

β€’ Offer line-management oversight and contribute to Project Management leadership.

β€’ Engage in regular travel, which may include overnight and international trips.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A minimum of 10 years of clinical project management experience, covering all project phases from initiation to closure, including all functional services and vendor management.

β€’ Required experience in dermatology or rheumatology trials.

β€’ Bachelor of Science in a relevant field.

β€’ At least 15 years of industry experience with a minimum of 5 years at a CRO.

β€’ Experience managing mid-size and large studies (over 10–15 countries) across multiple regions (NA, SA, APAC, MENA, Europe) is desirable.

β€’ Proven experience leading concurrent multicenter, multinational Phase III clinical trials, including project budget financial tracking and forecasting.

β€’ Significant experience in project supervision, mentoring, and coaching project managers.

β€’ Extensive experience with business development tasks, such as proposals, client presentations, and bid defense meetings.

β€’ Required experience in dermatology or rheumatology.

β€’ Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practices and applicable Health Canada and FDA regulations/guidelines.

β€’ PMP or PRINCE2 certification is considered an asset.

β€’ A Master’s degree is also an asset.
