This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
β’ Manage a portfolio or program of clinical studies along with the Project Managers responsible for their execution.
β’ Ensure that studies comply with therapeutic-area or client-specific criteria.
β’ Act as the company's representative to clients, ensuring satisfaction and effective communication regarding deliverables.
β’ Guarantee that studies adhere to quality standards, SOPs, GCPs, ICH guidelines, and relevant regulations.
β’ Oversee the management of executed contracts and the financial aspects of projects, including budgets and expenses.
β’ Maintain project timelines and utilize tracking/analysis tools.
β’ Retain comprehensive therapeutic and client-specific expertise.
β’ Implement study-specific insights throughout the assigned portfolio.
β’ Lead contingency planning and develop risk mitigation strategies.
β’ Provide operational input for proposals, pricing, and strategic operations.
β’ Foster performance enhancement, operational efficiency, and innovation.
β’ Offer line-management oversight and contribute to Project Management leadership.
β’ Operate from a home-based setting in Germany, with regular travel commitments.
β’ A minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical project management, covering all phases from start-up to closure, including all functional services and vendor management.
β’ Experience in conducting dermatology or rheumatology trials is essential.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
β’ At least 15 years of experience in the industry and a minimum of 5 years within a CRO.
β’ Desirable experience in managing mid-size and large studies (more than 10β15 countries) across multiple regions (NA, SA, APAC, MENA, Europe).
β’ Proven experience leading concurrent multicenter, multinational Phase III clinical trials, including project budget financial tracking and forecasting.
β’ Extensive experience in supervising, mentoring, and coaching project managers.
β’ Significant experience with business development activities, including proposals, client presentations, and bid defense meetings.
β’ Familiarity with Good Clinical Practices and relevant Health Canada and FDA regulations/guidelines.
β’ PMP or PRINCE2 certification is advantageous.
β’ Must possess legal authorization to work in Germany.
