This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
β’ Manage a portfolio or program of clinical projects along with the Project Managers responsible for executing awarded studies.
β’ Ensure that studies align with therapeutic-area and client-specific needs.
β’ Act as the company's representative to clients and uphold satisfaction levels.
β’ Communicate program deliverables in an effective manner.
β’ Guarantee that studies advance in accordance with quality standards, SOPs, GCPs, regulatory requirements, and ICH guidelines.
β’ Oversee executed contracts and financial matters, including study budgets and expenditures.
β’ Maintain and assess project progress using timelines and tracking/analysis tools.
β’ Retain comprehensive therapeutic and client-specific knowledge for assigned portfolios.
β’ Implement study-specific insights across assigned studies and clients.
β’ Lead planning for contingencies and risk mitigation strategies.
β’ Provide operational input for proposal development and pricing, including operations strategy.
β’ Drive enhancements in performance, operational efficiencies, and innovative strategies.
β’ Offer line-management oversight and contribute to Project Management leadership as an expert in operations and therapeutic areas.
β’ Bachelor of Science in a relevant field.
β’ A minimum of 15 years of experience in the industry.
β’ At least 5 years of experience at a CRO.
β’ A minimum of 10 years in clinical project management, covering all project phases from initiation to closure, all functional services, and vendor management.
β’ Experience in conducting trials related to dermatology or rheumatology is essential.
β’ Proven experience in leading concurrent multicentered, multinational Phase III clinical trials, including financial tracking and forecasting for project budgets.
β’ Experience with mid-size and large studies (>10β15 countries) across multiple regions (NA, SA, APAC, MENA, Europe) is preferred.
β’ Significant experience in project supervision, mentoring, and coaching project managers.
β’ Extensive experience with business development activities, including proposal development, client presentations, and bid defense meetings.
β’ Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practices and relevant regulations/guidelines from Health Canada and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
β’ Candidates must have legal authorization to work in Germany.
