Project Director, Dermatology – Rheumatology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Manage a portfolio or program of clinical trials along with the Project Managers responsible for executing awarded studies.

• Ensure that studies align with therapeutic or client-specific requirements.

• Serve as the company representative to clients while maintaining high satisfaction levels.

• Effectively communicate the deliverables of the program.

• Ensure that studies are conducted in compliance with quality standards, SOPs, GCPs, ICH guidelines, and relevant federal and local regulations.

• Supervise executed contracts and financial components, including study budgets and expenditures.

• Monitor and assess project progress using timelines along with tracking and analysis tools.

• Retain and evaluate therapeutic and client-specific knowledge for the assigned portfolio.

• Implement study-specific insights across assigned studies and clients.

• Lead the development of contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies.

• Provide operational input for proposal development and pricing, including operational strategy.

• Propel performance enhancements, operational efficiencies, and innovative strategies.

• Offer line management oversight while contributing to Project Management leadership as an expert in operational and therapeutic areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in a relevant field.

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in the industry.

• At least 5 years of experience at a CRO.

• A minimum of 10 years of clinical project management experience, encompassing management of all project phases from initiation to closure, all functional services, and vendor oversight.

• Required experience in dermatology or rheumatology trials.

• Proven experience leading concurrent multicenter, multinational phase III clinical trials, including financial tracking and forecasting of project budgets.

• Desirable experience with mid-sized and large studies (>10-15 countries) across multiple regions (NA, SA, APAC, MENA, Europe).

• Significant experience in project supervision, mentoring, and coaching Project Managers.

• Extensive experience with business development activities, including proposal development, client presentations, and bid defense meetings.

• PMP or PRINCE2 Certification is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and relevant Health Canada and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations/guidelines.

• Legally authorized to work in Argentina.
