📋 Description

• Act as the primary leader interfacing with customers for a significant, high-value project site.

• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with customer project leaders, site management, and essential stakeholders.

• Oversee customer communication, project updates, issue resolution, escalation processes, schedule evaluations, and performance discussions.

• Take ownership of the comprehensive execution of intricate customer project sites valued at over $60 million.

• Direct the delivery process from solution design transition to installation, commissioning, testing, go-live, and project closeout.

• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, risks, resources, contractual commitments, and customer obligations.

• Coordinate efforts among project managers, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, installation, software, controls, safety, and commissioning teams.

• Lead cross-functional project teams across various functions and workstreams.

• Establish priorities, timelines, and accountability among stakeholders, vendors, subcontractors, and customer representatives.

• Provide mentorship to project managers and site-level leaders.

• Drive activities related to forecasting, cost management, margin protection, change management, and risk mitigation.

• Monitor budget, schedule, margin, cash flow, and contractual milestones effectively.

• Lead planning for risk mitigation and escalate critical risks and decisions as necessary.

• Ensure alignment of execution with customer objectives, contractual commitments, and FORTNA delivery standards.

• Foster value engineering, cost optimization, schedule recovery, and performance enhancements.

• Ensure project governance, reporting, documentation, and communication practices facilitate disciplined execution.

• Implement supply chain automation and best practices for large-scale implementation.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in project leadership, managing large and complex customer implementations, ideally exceeding $60 million in project value.

• Established capability to lead major site-based project execution under high-pressure, customer-facing conditions.

• Extensive experience in managing project scope, budget, schedule, risks, resources, contractual obligations, and customer expectations.

• Strong financial and business acumen, including skills in forecasting, cost control, margin management, change management, and risk mitigation.

• Ability to lead cross-functional, matrixed teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.

• Exceptional customer relationship management skills, with strengths in communication, escalation handling, and maintaining customer confidence.

• Experience in coordinating engineering, installation, software, controls, supply chain, manufacturing, commissioning, and project management workstreams.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Strong communication skills, including project reporting, stakeholder updates, executive-level summaries, and customer presentations.

• Capacity to mentor project managers and site-level leaders effectively.

• Highly skilled in project management tools and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (or international equivalent) is required.

• At least 8 years of experience in program management, project delivery, or leadership in supply chain/automation.

• Willingness to travel to sites, including operational or construction environments, and comply with PPE requirements as necessary.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

• PMP® certification is preferred.

• Experience in managing large-scale automation, material handling, or supply chain transformation programs is preferred.
