This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist a team of Project Managers in the planning and execution of virtual, in-person, and hybrid events.

• Facilitate events from the creative concept and development stages through initial briefing to reconciliation.

• Aid in budget management, venue selection, hotel administration, registration management, transportation, catering, décor, staffing, name badge coordination, materials collection, and shipping of event materials.

• Provide support to other team members in event management and on-site execution.

• Keep team members and internal stakeholders updated with relevant logistical information.

• Generate timely and effective communications.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with client operational standards.

• Oversee accurate and timely budgeting, invoicing, and event reconciliation.

• Share best practices concerning suppliers, services, and venues.

• Incorporate best practices and elevate the standards at each event.

• Generate proactive ideas and creative solutions.

• Travel domestically as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• This position requires 1-2 years of experience, including entry-level venue sourcing, meeting planning, and supporting a team.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel.

• Ability to build relationships and maintain a positive rapport with colleagues, clients, vendors, and suppliers.

• A creative problem solver who is resourceful and works well in a team setting.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects at once, prioritize a heavy workload, and maintain attention to detail.

• A calm and adaptable approach to managing the pressures and stresses of changing demands.

• Highly organized with excellent time management skills to manage multiple tasks, meet strict deadlines, and uphold attention to detail.

• Ambitious, proactive, and flexible in navigating ever-changing situations.

• Willingness to travel as required.

• Proven ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.

• Highly motivated and capable of working independently.
