Project Controls Specialist – Data Center

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee a comprehensive cost and commercial management process.

• Ensure that project forecasts are consistent with current funding, billing, and month-end/year-end closing activities.

• Assist in change control by assessing budget modifications and reviewing contractor invoices.

• Identify potential risks or changes promptly and transparently.

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for governance and training documentation.

• Ensure projects adhere to approved guidelines and organizational standards.

• Collaborate closely with the North America Commercial Director and Project Team Commercial Managers.

• Deliver financial and commercial management for the North America project portfolio from initiation to completion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in executing mission-critical construction projects, particularly in corporate real estate or military environments.

• Strong proficiency in budgeting and accounting practices.

• Familiarity with cost control systems such as Oracle, Tririga, or Google Live Sheets.

• Capability to persuade stakeholders through well-reasoned arguments.

• Ability to think innovatively and work with a high degree of independence.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.

• Professional certifications such as PMP or P.E. are highly preferred.
