Project Architect – Internal Design, EV Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop architectural drawing packages for multiple concurrent EV facility projects.

• Create site layouts, feasibility studies, and initial concepts for both new and existing EV facilities.

• Generate site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and architectural details.

• Research relevant code requirements and produce code analyses across various jurisdictions.

• Coordinate architectural layouts in alignment with project requirements, owner standards, and internal design criteria.

• Ensure consistency across a portfolio of prototype-based facilities.

• Engage in design reviews and integrate client feedback into deliverables.

• Develop and maintain Revit models throughout the design process.

• Conduct model quality reviews, audits, and necessary cleanup.

• Establish and maintain BIM standards, templates, families, shared parameters, and consistency in project documentation.

• Assist in model organization, file management, and data integrity.

• Contribute to standardized prototype documents and reusable design resources.

• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency across recurring project types.

• Comply with applicable SOX control responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.

• Licensed Architect or currently pursuing licensure.

• Over 6 years of architectural experience.

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Bluebeam.

• Experience in producing schematic design and development documentation.

• Familiarity with BIM model management.

• Strong knowledge of construction codes and ability to interpret relevant code requirements.

• Capability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

• Outstanding organizational and communication skills.

• Preferred: Experience in EV, automotive, industrial, mission-critical, or prototype facility design.

• Preferred: Knowledge of sustainability principles and energy-efficient design strategies.

• Preferred: Experience with Google Workspace.

• Preferred: Experience with Miro.
