Project Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Manage the complete accounting cycle for projects.

• Set up projects and review forecasts according to project managers' requirements.

• Track billing opportunities and ensure execution in accordance with instructions.

• Review and ensure the correct recognition of revenues according to POC, costs, income, and WIP/POA.

• Identify and communicate deviations, recommending corrective actions.

• Conduct monthly reviews with project managers to assess progress and budgetary and timeline alignment.

• Oversee ongoing work and interim payments, maintaining accurate forecasts and actual billing dates.

• Ensure compliance with project accounting processes.

• Identify and implement best practices for continuous improvement.

• Assist the team with specific tasks and collaborate with the team leader on functions necessary for project success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.

• A minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in finance, project accounting, or financial project management.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

• Experience working with ERP systems.

• Experience with NetSuite is desirable.

• C1 level of English.
