Programmer Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Write, test, debug, implement, and document intricate programs.

• Create detailed test plans to verify the logic of new or modified applications.

• Design systems and applications to fulfill complex business requirements.

• Draft comprehensive specifications from which programs are developed and written.

• Generate program code and technical documentation.

• Collect data from existing systems and assess program and time requirements.

• Prepare time estimates and justifications for assigned tasks.

• Offer recommendations to project managers.

• Assist project personnel in addressing intricate program challenges.

• Collaborate with clients and management to resolve issues and confirm programming requirements.

• Provide technical guidance on complex programming tasks.

• May act as a technical project lead, offering leadership and work direction to junior team members.

• Conduct quality assurance activities, including peer reviews.

• Deliver technical and/or managerial consulting services to both management and technical staff.

• May represent the organization at presentations or conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of nine years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or data warehousing.

• Proficiency in Databricks, Python, SQL, and contemporary data engineering methodologies.

• Experience in developing and supporting Power BI reporting solutions and Tableau dashboard solutions.

• Background in supporting enterprise production environments.

• Experience in creating cloud-based data solutions.

• Expertise in developing and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks.

• Experience in enhancing data ingestion, transformation, and aggregation processes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for the design, creation, and testing of programs.

• Effective leadership skills to guide and mentor less experienced personnel.

• Video cameras must be utilized during all interviews and throughout the initial week of orientation.
