This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Optimize student enrollment and ensure the smooth operation of the MBA program.
• Oversee program coordination, academic integrity, quality assurance, pastoral care, learner performance, and progression.
• Collaborate with program teams, academic administration, marketing, industry partners, class representatives, students, and the awarding body.
• Achieve annual growth in program market share and identify opportunities for learner expansion.
• Assist in teaching, learning, academic leadership, and continuous enhancement initiatives.
• Promote engagement among lecturers and academic teams through virtual learning platforms and forums such as Moodle.
• Manage class recordings and track online participation.
• Offer academic, pastoral, administrative, career development, and work placement support to students.
• Track learner progression, retention, attendance, motivation, and re-engagement.
• Supervise program activities and ensure compliance with quality assurance standards set by Heriot Watt University and Griffith College.
• Take part in the recruitment, interviewing, and selection process for lecturing staff.
• Analyze lecturer and student feedback and prepare annual monitoring and program reports.
• Handle academic-year preparations, including timetabling, room reservations, lecturer appointments, inductions, and examination preparations.
• Assist lecturers with assessment compliance/design, pedagogy, Moodle, and academic integrity.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Griffith College and Heriot Watt University.
• Manage partner data sharing in accordance with GDPR and maintain precise records.
• Oversee dissertations, research modules, supervisors, workshops, blind marking, and viva voce examinations as applicable.
• Contribute to marketing efforts, open evenings, inductions, graduations, outreach, and College events.
• Generally possess an NFQ qualification one level above the level of the program(s) or equivalent experience in the relevant field.
• Experience in student recruitment is advantageous.
• If not already acquired, commit to enhancing teaching and learning practices through a recognized teaching and learning qualification (e.g., the College’s Level 9 Certificate in Education, Learning and Development program).
• Preferred lecturing experience in higher education, ideally including prior program management experience.
• Knowledge and practical expertise in the relevant subject area is preferred.
• A strong enthusiasm and commitment to teaching and academic growth.
• Proven ability to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the College’s reputation for academic excellence.
• Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Commitment to educational quality, learner support, and customer service.
• Ability and willingness to collaborate effectively as part of a cohesive team.
• Other management experience in education, industry, or related fields is desirable.
