Program Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Install and troubleshoot low-voltage panels, wiring, and related devices.

• Provide training, guidance, and direction to junior Installers at the job site.

• Conduct programming and lead the startup and commissioning procedures.

• Offer customer support and instructions regarding system operation and functionality.

• Execute system testing and signal verification.

• Maintain inventory, truck stock, equipment, and tools.

• Organize technical resources and support to ensure efficient task execution.

• Ensure the progress and completion of assigned tasks.

• Document services performed and hours worked.

• Complete task-related, productivity, and other necessary documentation.

• Assist with troubleshooting security software systems such as Milestone, LenelS2, and DMP.

• Communicate and schedule service and maintenance appointments.

• Conduct maintenance on installed security and access control systems.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in all work performed.

• Provide custom system integrations, upgrade planning and execution, system audits, and consultation services.

• Install, configure, and support electronic security solutions.

• Assist projects and sales teams as required.

• Travel extensively as a primary job responsibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or Vocational Training.

• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.

• Mastery of enterprise intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, and intercom access control systems.

• Comprehensive understanding of local and national codes.

• Proficient knowledge of OSHA and HAZCOM Regulations.

• Understanding of the national electronic code as well as state and local construction codes.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• Valid driver’s license required.

• Must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.

• Required to obtain and maintain necessary product certifications and/or licenses.

• Required to obtain and retain Lift certifications and a minimum OSHA 10 certification.

• 75% to 100% proficiency in Stone Security product offerings is necessary.

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively and on short notice.

• Ability to work a full-time, flexible schedule with on-call availability.

• Capability to drive a motor vehicle for extended durations.

• Physical ability to lift, move, and hold approximately 50 lbs.
