This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Revise systems to assess vendors in line with client risk tiers, insurance criteria, and compliance regulations.
• Convert customer risk and insurance criteria into platform rules, workflows, and communications.
• Create reusable templates, policies, endorsement libraries, and guides.
• Enhance requirements and workflows to ensure vendors adhere to client standards.
• Monitor, document, and report compliance with insurance requirements defined by customers.
• Evaluate requests for exceptions to insurance requirements and assist in the client exception review processes.
• Collaborate with the Services Team on vendor enrollment and the assessment of requirements.
• Provide resources, playbooks, and best practices for property teams.
• Examine vendor contracts for insurance, indemnity, and hold-harmless clauses.
• Work alongside customer legal counsel to negotiate advantageous contract terms.
• Create protocols for non-standard terms in vendor agreements.
• Ensure contracts comply with regulatory and state-specific standards.
• Partner with CX, Product, and Ops to align platform logic and communications with client requirements.
• Act as an internal expert on vendor credentialing and insurance prerequisites.
• Educate property managers and vendors on best practices and updates in processes.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers to enhance the verification of certificates of insurance.
• Present risk metrics and compliance trends to executive leadership.
• Assist sales teams during client presentations and responses to RFPs.
• Analyze data to recommend improvements in workflows, rules, and resources.
• Generate reports on vendor compliance rates, trends in exceptions, and exposure metrics.
• Analyze vendor incident data and establish benchmarking metrics for managing vendor risk.
• Over 5 years of experience in commercial insurance, particularly in commercial lines brokerage, risk management, insurance compliance, or contractor/vendor credentialing.
• Experience ideally in serving clients within property management, construction, or real estate sectors.
• Active Property and Casualty (P&C) License.
• Proficient in reviewing a large volume of certificates of insurance.
• Ability to identify missing additional insured endorsements, insufficient limits, and incorrect waiver of subrogation language.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverages, including general liability, workers’ compensation, professional liability, umbrella/excess, and auto liability.
• Skilled in risk assessment frameworks, credentialing or contract management platforms, and tracking insurance certificates.
• Experience supporting or implementing risk management frameworks for large enterprise clients.
• Capable of designing repeatable, documented processes for high-compliance or regulated workflows.
• Exceptional written communication abilities.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
• Competent in executing tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
