Program Manager, Product Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage product and technical programs — facilitate cross-team execution from initial scoping to launch and post-launch evaluations, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Design, and Data teams.

• Take ownership of program delivery — create and maintain project plans, identify dependencies among teams, proactively assess and mitigate risks, and ensure that initiatives adhere to a consistent timeline.

• Convert needs into precise requirements — transform ambiguous business, clinical, or partner requests into clear, actionable requirements and decisions for product and engineering teams to implement.

• Oversee Product & Tech operational processes — guide quarterly planning, goal setting, roadmap reviews, and launch readiness and communications.

• Enhance feedback mechanisms — manage and refine the alignment, communication, and processes between Product & Tech teams and their cross-functional partners.

• Promote data-driven decision making — analyze the performance and impact of significant initiatives and present clear, concise recommendations to leadership.

• Manage essential tools — identify, administer, and enhance the operational tools and systems (project trackers, documentation, dashboards) that provide organizational visibility and leverage.

• Ensure successful completion — confirm that initiatives not only launch but also achieve long-term optimization and facilitate post-launch learning.

⛳️ Requirements

• A developing business expert — organized, adaptable, and motivated by using independent judgment to transform partially defined challenges into clear plans, priorities, and decisions.

• Over 3 years of experience in program management, project management, or operations within a complex, cross-functional environment.

• Strong grasp of program management fundamentals — planning, sequencing, tracking milestones and dependencies, and risk management, with a keen eye for detail.

• A documentation and systems-oriented thinker — you instinctively utilize playbooks, templates, and repeatable processes rather than performing the same manual task repeatedly.

• An effective communicator — you provide stakeholders with proactive updates on your work, conduct efficient meetings, and document decisions and action items to ensure nothing is overlooked.

• Comfortable with uncertainty and action-oriented — you ask insightful questions, suggest solutions rather than waiting for instructions, and recognize when to escalate issues.

• Familiar with the technical aspects — while coding is not required, you understand product development cycles, integrations, APIs, and data are not foreign concepts to you.

• Collaborative, showing high empathy and accountability — you support colleagues, provide and accept direct feedback, and maintain high standards for yourself.

• Growth-focused — you actively seek constructive feedback and are eager to advance to leading larger, more complex programs from start to finish.
