This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the complete operational process for Rhythm’s initiatives, beginning with the Battery Program and extending to upcoming product launches.
• Oversee the installer process from the assignment stage through to Permission to Operate (PTO).
• Collaborate with installation partners to ensure project progression and troubleshoot any issues.
• Manage system enrollment in Kinergy, Rhythm’s battery management software.
• Recognize operational bottlenecks, dependencies, and areas for process enhancement.
• Develop repeatable workflows, documentation, and operational procedures for future product launches.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with installation partners, equipment manufacturers, utilities, local permitting authorities, distributors, and various external stakeholders.
• Assist in the permitting and approval processes with utility partners and permitting authorities.
• Oversee the relationship with equipment distributors, including coordinating payment and delivery.
• Facilitate issue resolution across both internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor fleet health and system performance to ensure batteries are operational and functioning as intended.
• Investigate and resolve system-related issues in conjunction with equipment manufacturers and installers.
• Supervise battery scheduling within Kinergy in accordance with VPP and Portfolio strategies.
• Support precise, comprehensive, and timely Demand Response reporting.
• Gather, track, and relay program KPIs.
• Utilize operational data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide data and reporting to Sales and other business functions as needed.
• Collaborate with Product, Program, VPP, Portfolio, Sales, and other teams to maintain insight into performance and priorities.
• Communicate effectively across teams and partners to ensure ongoing momentum and accountability.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, vendor management, partner management, operations, or a related field.
• Familiarity with the Texas retail energy market.
• Experience with distributed energy resources (DERs) such as batteries, generators, EVs, or other demand response technologies.
• Proven track record in managing external partners, vendors, or other third-party relationships.
• Robust program and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, and stakeholders concurrently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Keen attention to detail and a sense of ownership in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with permitting, interconnection, utility approvals, or Permission to Operate processes is a plus.
• Familiarity with supporting battery, VPP, Demand Response, or other DER programs is a plus.
• Experience in monitoring distributed asset or fleet performance is a plus.
• Training or enablement experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with using AI tools to enhance operational workflows, analysis, or productivity is a plus.
