Program Manager, Product Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the Chief of Staff in Product Development by enhancing operational efficiency, managing financial planning, and executing strategic initiatives.

• Organize and oversee product development programs and initiatives that align with the company's goals.

• Aid in financial planning, monitor budgets, forecast expenditures, and ensure alignment with business priorities.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and standardization within product development teams.

• Lead and orchestrate cross-functional strategic projects, including setting objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

• Oversee the reporting of departmental performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, including KPIs and goals.

• Standardize the reporting frameworks for product development teams.

• Create, publish, maintain, and organize documentation related to product roadmaps, strategies, and execution.

• Develop training materials, presentations, and resources for internal stakeholders.

• Coordinate and support program release plans for seasonal launches, including educational components.

• Collaborate with product management, finance, engineering, and other teams.

• Monitor risks and obstacles while collaborating on proactive solutions.

• Provide planning, governance, and management for quarterly, bi-annual, and annual R&D investment planning.

• Create a model with Product Management and Engineering to facilitate excellent roadmap delivery.

• Enhance program management practices and methodologies focusing on pace, cost, and quality.

• Define and track program interdependencies while maintaining an integrated product delivery plan.

• Assist in planning and coordination of the annual user conference aimed at product development discovery and innovation sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a relevant field.

• Over 5 years of experience in implementing a variety of technical projects and programs.

• Preferred experience with SaaS platforms and products.

• Strong expertise in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, and Jellyfish.

• Proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

• Experience with financial tracking tools.

• Ability to analyze data, monitor performance metrics, and extract insights for informed decision-making.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience collaborating and working with senior and executive leadership in a cross-functional setting.

• Capacity to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to evolving business needs, and devise creative solutions.

• Self-motivated with a strong inclination towards action, results, and continuous improvement.

• Capability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment.

• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures under pressure.

• Preferred PMP certification.

• Preferred experience with agile methodologies.

• Preferred experience with Lean or Six Sigma process improvement methodologies.
