Program Manager – Infrastructure & Capital Projects

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable consultant and subject matter authority, fostering client relationships while offering strategic insights.

• Enhance business development initiatives through industry knowledge, thought leadership, proposal creation, and participation in industry events.

• Function as an Owner's Representative, managing capital projects from initial planning through execution, closeout, and handover phases.

• Oversee project planning and execution in alignment with client goals, budgets, timelines, and performance benchmarks.

• Coordinate project control efforts related to risk, scheduling, costs, change management, governance, and reporting.

• Propel program plans, priorities, deliverables, and ensure action items are completed.

• Facilitate collaboration among project control functions, project teams, and stakeholders.

• Track schedule, cost, risk, and change performance; recognize trends and suggest corrective measures.

• Spot delivery gaps, dependencies, and emerging challenges; lead mitigation and resolution efforts.

• Generate governance documentation, executive-level reports, and performance updates.

• Address obstacles, promote decision-making, and foster accountable resolutions.

• Design and implement program tools, processes, and initiatives.

• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders and present strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

• Evaluate program performance, understand client requirements, analyze metrics, and propose scalable solutions.

• Counsel clients on resource planning and allocation, which includes staffing and management of Owner Furnished Equipment.

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and client teams.

• Recognize and mitigate project risks across teams, vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field/experience.

• Over 10 years of experience in the data center sector with a solid understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) disciplines.

• More than 15 years of progressive experience in construction, capital projects, project controls, or program management.

• Proven knowledge of all phases of construction and capital project execution.

• Hands-on experience across project control areas, including cost management, scheduling, risk management, change management, governance, and reporting.

• Experience in coordinating cross-functional project teams and stakeholders within complex capital delivery frameworks.

• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation abilities.

• Experience in crafting executive-level presentations, governance documents, and program performance reports.

• Capability to identify project risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges, and to drive resolution autonomously.

• Background in project and program delivery within a dynamic, client-facing environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills along with proficient computer skills.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting contract documents, plans, and specifications.

• Competent in using Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar capital project management and reporting tools.

• Experience in establishing or enhancing project control frameworks, governance processes, and performance reporting systems.

• Familiarity with large-scale data center, mission-critical, or intricate infrastructure programs.

• Demonstrated ability to operate independently while influencing diverse stakeholder groups across various project functions.
