This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Provide leadership and guidance across a multi-organizational management team overseeing various workstreams and functional areas.
β’ Define program priorities, objectives, and performance metrics that align with customer needs and organizational aims.
β’ Lead and coordinate efforts across different teams to ensure the successful delivery of program results.
β’ Develop, implement, and uphold work standards, policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
β’ Assign, schedule, monitor, and evaluate work activities to guarantee quality, timeliness, and compliance with contractual obligations.
β’ Communicate organizational goals, policies, and objectives to subordinate managers and staff members.
β’ Act as the primary liaison between the Government and contractor teams.
β’ Cultivate, maintain, and enhance relationships with senior Government officials, sponsors, and other external stakeholders.
β’ Regularly interface with Government management personnel, technical staff, contractor support staff, and external partners.
β’ Proactively address customer concerns and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
β’ Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders to achieve mission objectives and effectively resolve issues.
β’ Take responsibility for financial performance across a significant segment of work involving various teams and task areas.
β’ Oversee administrative and operational functions essential for successful contract execution.
β’ Manage staffing, workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, professional development, and training initiatives.
β’ Direct contract administration tasks, including task management, subcontract management, performance reporting, and deliverable tracking.
β’ Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, organizational policies, customer requirements, and relevant regulations.
β’ Monitor program budgets, expenditures, resource allocations, and cost controls to achieve financial targets.
β’ Establish and uphold program quality management processes and performance metrics.
β’ Ensure that work products comply with contractual, technical, and regulatory standards.
β’ Identify and mitigate program risks, issues, and performance challenges.
β’ Implement corrective actions as necessary to guarantee program success and promote continuous improvement.
β’ Oversee compliance management activities and support audit preparedness efforts.
β’ Customer Specific Clearances (#clearable).
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Program Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field; relevant equivalent experience may be considered.
β’ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory.
β’ At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience managing communications services contracts, including oversight of large-scale, multi-disciplinary teams.
β’ Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects, task orders, or contract activities simultaneously.
β’ Proven capability to lead geographically dispersed teams and coordinate efforts across various organizational boundaries.
β’ Experience in managing contract performance, budgets, schedules, staffing, and program risks.
β’ Strong understanding of business operations, quality management, compliance management, and subcontract management practices.
β’ Experience working directly with Federal Government clients and executive stakeholders.
β’ Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
β’ Ability to travel up to 25% to customer and contractor locations.
