Program Manager – EPD Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and enhance processes related to bug tracking, incident management, reliability, and escalations.

• Analyze operational health data to identify trends and convert them into actionable insights.

• Create dashboards and reports utilizing tools such as Jira and Snowflake.

• Clarify the significance of operational data, its implications, and necessary changes.

• Develop and execute process modifications based on data-driven insights.

• Detect gaps in processes across Engineering, Product, and Design, and establish suitable processes to address them.

• Assist in planning and project tracking activities across the EPD domain.

• Facilitate project status reviews, leadership roadmap assessments, and priority evaluations.

• Integrate systems, processes, and teams to uncover overlaps, conflicts, and opportunities for simplification.

• Support EPD initiatives that require structured execution, including those that are not clearly defined.

• Conduct project retrospectives with stakeholders and participants.

• Lead the continuous enhancement and simplification of business operating procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Program Manager or Technical Program Manager (TPM), collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, especially within Engineering and Product.

• Background as a Program/Technical Program Manager in a remote startup setting.

• In-depth understanding of the technical engineering landscape, encompassing daily engineering operations, standard workflows and tools, and common technical and process issues.

• Experience managing operational health processes such as bug tracking, incidents, reliability, or escalations, using them to drive measurable efficiency improvements.

• Strong data capabilities, including the ability to build dashboards and reports in tools like Jira and Snowflake, and proficient in reading and interpreting data.

• Skill in identifying data trends, translating them into clear insights, and designing as well as implementing process modifications.

• Experience in supporting planning cycles, project tracking, and recurring reviews, including project status, leadership roadmap, and priority evaluations.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and undefined deliverables comfortably.

• Tactical execution-oriented approach with hands-on implementation experience.

• Experience collaborating with leadership in Engineering, Product, and Design.

• Capacity to give and receive constructive feedback and work independently.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira, Notion, and GitHub.

• Knowledge of technical solutions, engineering practices, and the security and engineering lifecycle.
