Program Manager

📋 Description

• Direct and oversee delivery and client engagement initiatives across various strategic government contracts.

• Develop and nurture strong, trustworthy relationships with government partners while maintaining agency-level situational awareness.

• Identify risks related to delivery, processes, culture, expectation-setting, staffing, milestones, and finances, and collaboratively resolve them.

• Maintain continuous client engagement to understand their vision, address their needs, resolve issues, and transparently communicate progress.

• Recognize portfolio opportunities and risks, enhancing the portfolio through surge CLINs, option years, and negotiations with prime contractors.

• Collaborate with various projects and organizational teams to proactively identify and resolve delivery challenges.

• Establish delivery environments grounded in mutual trust between government partners and Nava teams.

• Amplify delivery efforts through project managers and functional delivery leaders.

• Oversee portfolio contracts and financials in conjunction with the finance team and manage contract modifications.

• Set and maintain standards for delivery excellence and client service.

• Implement Nava policies and guidance at the program level.

• Contribute to the development and achievement of company objectives and key results.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing delivery outcomes and client relationships for small to medium-sized projects.

• Background in custom software or cloud infrastructure programs/projects.

• Experience working with or for government agencies.

• Proven track record in growing agile development teams and managing large-scale projects.

• Experience leading complex projects with milestones, dependencies, integrations, risks, uncertainties, or large scale.

• Proficiency in agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.

• Familiarity with practices in continuous integration and continuous delivery.

• Empathetic communication and relationship-building skills with a focus on service.

• Flexible problem-solving abilities to tackle multidimensional challenges across various organizations, processes, cultures, and technologies.

• Highly organized and dedicated to fostering a sustainable, culture-conscious business.

• Strategic mindset for medium- and long-term delivery planning and contract management.

• Iterative execution approach that emphasizes rapid team advancement.

• Capacity to maintain situational awareness beyond one’s immediate team.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Willingness to travel occasionally.

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Ability to fulfill other requirements for relevant government contracts.

• Work authorization that does not necessitate visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• May be subject to a government background check or security clearance based on contract requirements.

• Must reside in one of the specified eligible states and work from within the contiguous United States.
