This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee financial projections and analyses for various programs concurrently

• Ensure precise expenditure documentation and submit timely requests for additional government funding

• Collaborate with government and commercial clients through presentations regarding funding, EAC/ETC, projections, and cost allocations

• Execute project setup in the accounting system and conduct periodic updates in line with contract modifications and funding

• Generate explanations for variances, EACs, and monthly corporate and customer reports concerning cost/schedule performance, staffing, and revenue forecasts

• Manage the monthly closing process for designated programs

• Review travel expenses for thoroughness and accuracy

• Create timely billing and accompanying documentation for clients in coordination with Accounts Receivable

• Supervise project expense coding with Accounts Payable

• Collaborate with Program Management to ensure precision in daily operations and data reporting

• Develop annual program budgets and monthly/quarterly forecast updates

• Prepare internal and external program reports in accordance with company and contract specifications


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience and expertise with MS Office applications, particularly Advanced Excel

• Comprehensive understanding of financial management principles such as funding, revenue, cost, profit, billed AR, unbilled AR, EACs, subcontracts, and purchase orders

• Background in managing Cost Plus, T&M, and Fixed Price Contracts

• Strong numerical and analytical capabilities

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills

• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at the same time

• Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and creativity

• Capable of thriving in a dynamic, customer-focused, and collaborative team environment

• 4+ years of experience in Program Finance

• Bachelor’s Degree

• U.S. Citizenship with the capability to obtain a Secret clearance

• Previous experience supporting Government Contracts, Finance, Budgeting, or Job Cost Accounting

• Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint, Cognos, or comparable enterprise financial systems

• Basic knowledge of FAR Cost Principles
