This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Ensure rigorous execution, transparency, and alignment for H&R Block's key strategic initiatives and enterprise priorities.
• Collaborate with business leaders, executive sponsors, and cross-functional teams to convert strategic priorities into comprehensive execution plans.
• Provide leadership with insights into progress, risks, dependencies, delivery assurance, and business results.
• Assist in developing and advancing the enterprise program management function, encompassing governance, operational rhythms, portfolio visibility, execution standards, and reporting methodologies.
• Create and sustain visibility into the initiatives outlined in the Enterprise Operating Plan.
• Align execution efforts with targeted business objectives and success metrics.
• Identify interdepartmental dependencies, execution gaps, and risks while facilitating issue resolution.
• Oversee intricate, cross-functional strategic programs from the planning phase through to delivery.
• Convert business priorities into cohesive plans, milestones, dependencies, operational commitments, and measurable results.
• Coordinate execution across various workstreams and functional teams.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and execution obstacles.
• Monitor milestones, KPIs, and objectives for value realization.
• Advocate for outcome-focused execution and ongoing improvement.
• Establish program governance, reporting structures, and operational rhythms.
• Facilitate program reviews, executive steering committees, and decision-making sessions.
• Develop and enhance EPMO capabilities, processes, governance frameworks, operational rhythms, and tools.
• Over 10 years of experience in program management, transformation, business operations, or enterprise execution.
• Proven leadership in large, cross-functional initiatives.
• Demonstrated success in leading extensive, complex cross-functional initiatives that yield measurable business results.
• Experience in influencing senior leaders and achieving alignment without direct authority.
• Strong business acumen.
• Proficient analytical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent executive communication abilities.
• Proven success in translating strategy into execution and measurable outcomes.
• Familiarity with program management, reporting, and collaboration tools.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• An advanced degree or program management certification is preferred.
