Program Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee and coordinate the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of projects and designated workstreams.

• Manage project scope, timeline, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, quality, and deliverables effectively.

• Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules, deadlines, milestones, priorities, and task assignments.

• Delegate responsibilities, organize cross-functional resources, and guide project team members.

• Track project performance, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective measures as necessary.

• Prepare and deliver project status reports, dashboards, briefings, and updates for executive-level stakeholders.

• Facilitate project meetings and Agile/SAFe ceremonies, while tracking action items and decisions made.

• Manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies; develop mitigation strategies and escalate when needed.

• Collaborate with ServiceNow architects, developers, administrators, business analysts, testers, and Government stakeholders.

• Support requirements gathering, release, deployment, and change-management activities throughout the ServiceNow implementation lifecycle.

• Ensure that activities and deliverables adhere to contractual obligations, federal standards, security requirements, and organizational processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive project management experience in supporting complex IT programs or projects.

• Proven experience in coordinating and successfully completing projects, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and leading cross-functional teams.

• Extensive experience in project planning and scheduling, risk and issue management, status reporting, resource coordination, and stakeholder management.

• Familiarity with Agile and/or SAFe delivery methodologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

• US Citizenship is a requirement.

• Experience in Federal IT or ServiceNow implementation is strongly preferred.

• Certifications as a Scrum Master, in SAFe, or ServiceNow are advantageous.
