This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Provide technical, administrative, programmatic, and analytical support to the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) client.
• Assist in evaluating program and scientific impact.
• Design and implement evaluation activities.
• Transform data into actionable next steps.
• Gather, clean, and organize program and biomedical research output/outcome data.
• Analyze datasets, including intellectual property data, to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop data visualizations, summaries, and briefing materials for scientific and military audiences.
• Track and manage data-related tasks and deliverables.
• Document data sources, methodologies, and outputs.
• Create and maintain tools and templates for standardized data management.
• Respond to data requests, including taskers and program-specific tasks, while monitoring centralized communications.
• Perform quality checks on datasets and reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data needs and priorities.
• Carry out other job-related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in science, health, healthcare, or a related field.
• Over 4 years of professional experience in a relevant biomedical or public health area.
• Proficiency with electronic databases and spreadsheets.
• Capability to prepare and maintain complex spreadsheets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management abilities.
• Ability to monitor progress on multiple assigned tasks by priority and communicate potential scheduling conflicts.
• Highly efficient and meticulously detail-oriented, with a talent for organizing and synthesizing abstract and disparate information.
• Ability to work independently and recognize when to seek assistance.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity software.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
• NACI clearance.
• Master's degree in a biomedical-related field (preferred).
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
• Experience with Power Apps for building dashboards.
• Basic understanding of AI tools, including their limitations and risks, as well as their application to project management tasks.
• Experience conducting systematic assessments of program or project inputs, activities, and outputs.
