This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +40 more states.
• Oversee all aspects of Direct Install programs from initiation to completion, managing costs, implementation, and performance metrics.
• Facilitate collaboration among engineering, operations, national accounts, and analytics teams across various regions, utilities, and initiatives.
• Supervise eligibility assessments for measures and lead the approval process with utility companies.
• Assess customer and site-specific criteria to identify suitable Direct Install measures and encourage participation.
• Engage in negotiations for contracts and any changes to existing contracts.
• Organize business plans, work statements, budgets, and financial agreements.
• Manage schedules, site access, materials, and installation tasks efficiently.
• Foster new business opportunities and broaden program scope with current utility partners.
• Develop and sustain a pipeline of opportunities with National Accounts.
• Set key milestones, monitor adherence to program plans, and address issues through resource reallocation or renegotiation of contracts.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers and lead program reviews concerning costs, schedules, and performance outcomes.
• Evaluate program challenges and opportunities, proposing enhancements to profitability and sustainability.
• Propel scalable process improvements as Direct Install initiatives grow into new regions and programs.
• 5-8 years of experience in program or project management.
• Familiarity with utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs and direct install measures.
• Proven experience in managing complex and high-risk programs from planning through execution.
• Experience in sales-related roles with skills in negotiation and influence without direct authority.
• Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to lead cross-functional teams of 7-15 members in a dynamic environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and project tracking applications.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PMP certification is highly desirable.
• MBA is strongly preferred.
• Direct experience with utility clients and the implementation of energy efficiency programs is highly favored.
• Knowledge of commercial and industrial energy efficiency technologies and measures is strongly preferred.
• Experience in supporting multi-region program delivery and operations is highly desirable.
• Must be authorized to work in the location of the position without employer sponsorship or support.
• Successful candidates must pass pre-employment screenings.
