Professional Services Engineer, SW Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the technical definition, scoping methodologies, and quality benchmarks for the global Field Deployment Engineering program.

• Collaborate with regional directors and delivery teams across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC to outline engagements, establish solution architectures, and evaluate technical feasibility.

• Facilitate onsite scoping workshops, architecture discussions, and deployment evaluations.

• Develop reusable frameworks, templates, and tools for FDE that can be scaled across different regions.

• Create, develop, and implement custom integrations, workflows, and extensions that link Cellebrite platforms with customer environments.

• Work with enterprise clients to co-create solutions and confirm technical results in real-world scenarios.

• Convert intricate customer requirements into solid, maintainable technical solutions.

• Keep reusable solution components and accelerators up to date.

• Act as the final internal escalation point for intricate deployment issues, architectural inquiries, and technical obstacles.

• Conduct architecture assessments for non-standard and high-complexity projects.

• Collaborate with R&D and Product teams to align field realities with product functionalities.

• Develop AI-enhanced and automated tools to boost service delivery efficiency, consistency, and quality.

• Utilize LLM-based tools, agents, and workflow automation throughout the services lifecycle.

• Promote continuous improvement through engineering practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of backend engineering experience; proficiency in Python preferred, with Node.js or Java also acceptable.

• Proven experience in building and integrating REST APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines.

• Practical knowledge in AI/ML with LLMs, including OpenAI and Anthropic, as well as agentic workflows and production AI tools.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD processes.

• Background in professional services related to field engineering, solutions consulting, or customer-facing delivery.

• Experience in scoping and designing solutions in collaboration with enterprise clients.

• Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL, data transformation, and ETL processes.

• Experience in customer engagement, ranging from executive briefings to technical discussions.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Strong leadership abilities, including the capacity to influence without authority and mentor engineers in distributed teams.

• Background in digital investigations, public safety, law enforcement, or the intelligence technology sector.

• Familiarity with Salesforce, Gainsight, or other customer success/professional services operations platforms.

• Experience in designing or delivering training and enablement programs to technical audiences.

• Proven ability to support customers across regions with diverse compliance, legal, and operational needs.
