This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Develop, assess, implement, test, troubleshoot, and provide support for NCR Atleos financial software solutions utilized in ATMs and cash recyclers.
• Deliver technical leadership, architectural direction, and ownership of intricate solution deliveries across various customer engagements.
• Analyze customer requirements and evaluate the implementation effort in their environments.
• Configure core software and its supporting components.
• Conduct unit testing, monitor issues, and apply necessary updates.
• Identify and rectify system failures.
• Set acceptance criteria and quality objectives.
• Provide estimates, standards, constraints, and dependencies for work statements and delivery schedules.
• Lead the design and implementation of complex software solutions involving multiple modules or workflows.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for intricate or high-impact issues.
• Oversee end-to-end testing across integrated systems and environments.
• Prepare software for distribution to customers and networks.
• Assist field teams during laboratory installations, certifications, and training sessions.
• Manage issue resolution during customer acceptance testing.
• Define solution architectures for customer certification and pilot initiatives.
• Address Level 3 production issues, including urgent fixes and integration testing.
• Take ownership of significant production escalations and drive corrective measures and stability enhancements.
• Mentor consultants while leading knowledge-sharing, technical reviews, and training initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, support, and sales teams.
• Contribute to reusable frameworks, tools, and best practices for delivery.
• Support customer engagements through solution scoping, demonstrations, and input for technical proposals.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience providing technical project leadership and coordinating project resources.
• Familiarity with Microsoft operating system technologies, including Windows 10 and Windows 7.
• Understanding of hardware drivers, application installation, TCP/IP networking, IIS, remote access, and client/server architectures.
• Experience in delivering technical presentations, webinars, and customer-facing sessions.
• Background in the ATM or kiosk self-service industry.
• Programming or debugging experience in client applications.
• Knowledge of VB/VB.NET, C++, and C#.
• Advanced expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, NodeJS, ExpressJS, .NET, AngularJS, Angular, and XML.
• Proficient in Java and C#.
• Experience in client application development.
• Familiarity with financial institutions or network switch ATM operations.
• Experience with CEN XFS ATM software specifications.
• Knowledge of NDC and 912 message formats.
• Experience with proprietary message formats.
• Web services integration experience with WebSphere or IIS.
• Proficient in using PSA, Confluence, and QuickBase.
• Experience with JIRA, Subversion, or similar version control tools.
• Working knowledge of Agile SDLC.
• Employment is contingent upon passing applicable screening criteria.
• Travel is required throughout Canada, primarily in Toronto and Montreal.
• Initial training may necessitate trips to major Canadian hubs or client locations across the country.
• Some shift work may be necessary.
