Professional Services Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Guide Mid-Market and Small Enterprise clients through the successful implementation and initial usage of the Gong platform.

• Act as the primary functional expert to assist clients in achieving quantifiable business results.

• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

• Conduct discovery sessions and business process mapping.

• Configure the Gong platform in accordance with approved solution designs and client specifications.

• Design and document solutions, including workflows tailored to personas, configuration blueprints, and deployment documentation.

• Support change management initiatives to promote user adoption and ensure ongoing value realization.

• Take ownership of quality assurance tasks, including test scenarios, coordination of User Acceptance Testing, and post-go-live support.

• Collaborate with client technical teams to validate data, confirm integrations, and complete security assessments.

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the Gong product suite and third-party integrations.

• Enhance Professional Services delivery tools, templates, and best-practice guides.

• Work in partnership with Sales and Customer Success teams throughout sales, implementation, and post-sales processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of consulting experience in a customer-facing Professional Services role, ideally centered on SaaS implementations.

• Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations.

• Strong understanding of revenue operations and business processes, including pipeline management, sales cycles, and organizational structure.

• Expertise in designing and implementing solutions within a major CRM platform, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics.

• Solid technical skills and comfort with hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, and collaboration with customer technical teams.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.

• Willingness to work in San Francisco or remotely within the United States, as indicated by the location listing.
