Professional Learning Facilitator – Literacy K-5

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Organize and facilitate high-quality Professional Learning events that are coordinated and planned through Open Up Resources.

• Encourage meaningful and authentic discussions among curriculum users by sharing personal experiences with implementation.

• Prepare for and confidently execute the Professional Learning plans provided by Open Up Resources.

• Utilize technologies such as Google Apps for Education to enhance the Professional Learning experience.

• Possess and effectively communicate comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum.

• Leverage feedback from participants, district leaders, and the Open Up Resources team to refine delivery methods.

• Communicate efficiently and promptly with Open Up Resources, district representatives, and participating educators.

• Stay updated with ongoing training from the Professional Learning Manager.

• Demonstrate reliability, responsiveness, and commitment to the OUR Mission and values, along with integrity in curriculum implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in a classroom setting implementing Bookworms K–5 Reading & Writing curriculum.

• Currently engaged in a classroom or district that utilizes the curriculum.

• Familiarity and understanding of the educational environment.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Commitment to excellence.

• Proven history of accountability.

• Capability to lead meetings through web conferencing tools such as Zoom, Google Meets, and Microsoft Teams.

• Proficient in using email, Google platform, and MS Office 365.

• Ability to effectively engage with educational technologies, including Google Apps for Education.

• Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills delivered in a timely manner.

• Positive mindset centered on collaboration and team-oriented problem-solving.

• Ability to cultivate a supportive remote team environment.
