This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Supervise and direct survey technicians.

• Conduct reviews of boundaries, easements, deeds, and titles.

• Engage in comprehensive research at town, county, and state levels.

• Analyze surveys, field notes, maps, aerial imagery, and other documents to pinpoint potential project limitations.

• Identify the optimal strategies to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.

• Compute quantities and volumes as needed.

• Maintain daily communication with crew chiefs and the operations team.

• Work in partnership with drafting managers, design teams, and the operations team to provide progress updates, address challenges, and manage plan modifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is mandatory, with licensure in multiple states being advantageous.

• Essential field and office experience in land surveying, with a strong emphasis on attention to detail.

• A demonstrated history of acquiring new clients and generating additional revenue.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are vital for effective collaboration and the capability to take direction and develop within the company.

• Proven experience in managing survey crews is required.

• Self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to work independently are crucial for success in this position.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Carlson Survey is necessary, with familiarity with Quickbase for logging job statuses being a plus.
