This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with Business Units to enhance Out-of-Box Quality and the serviceability of system shipments.
• Spearhead design-for-installation initiatives for new products.
• Create workforce modeling, long-term planning, and resource requirements.
• Manage installation and warranty expenditures while driving improvements based on data insights.
• Establish installation strategies that prioritize safety, quality, cycle time, and cost efficiency.
• Implement data governance and standardization of KPIs.
• Advocate for systemic solutions based on input from field teams.
• Improve supplier testing and analytics to mitigate field failures.
• Formulate systems and processes for installation documentation, training, tooling, continuous improvement, and lessons learned.
• Expedite training for intricate installations at advanced nodes.
• Integrate digital tools and AI for predictive planning and quality assurance.
• Standardize governance for technology integration across business units and field teams.
• Direct talent strategy focusing on future skill requirements and advanced technical capabilities.
• Lead through subordinate managers and implement segment/functional business plans.
• Tackle highly complex or atypical business challenges using advanced analytical judgment.
• Negotiate and influence senior executives and external organizations.
• Adhere to Applied Materials' global Standards of Business Conduct.
• Extensive and thorough understanding of various systems, theories, and practices.
• Broad industry and commercial insight to enhance financial and operational performance.
• Proven experience in leading through subordinate managers of managers.
• Capability to execute segment/functional business plans and assist in strategy formulation.
• Advanced analytical thought and judgment for addressing highly complex or unusual business issues.
• Proficient in negotiating and influencing senior executives and external organizations.
• Awareness of and adherence to Applied Materials' global Standards of Business Conduct.
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
