This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Act as a bridge between the organization and its internal and external clients.

• Supervise and actively engage in the loan process from initiation to completion.

• Provide borrowers with information regarding loan programs, associated costs, and relevant loan documents.

• Examine and evaluate income, assets, DU findings, and credit documentation.

• Review and present mortgage loan disclosure packages, including initial and re-disclosure packages.

• Assist in managing a portfolio of Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203k, Jumbo, and reverse mortgage loans.

• Ensure that the loan structure aligns with the borrower’s financial situation to offer the best program.

• Check files for any missing documentation necessary for loan approval.

• Pre-underwrite documents such as paystubs, credit reports, W-2s, bank statements, and court orders.

• Enter disclosure feeds and configure loans according to borrowers’ requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 3–5 years of experience in residential mortgage processing.

• Familiarity with Encompass LOS is preferred.

• Prior experience in underwriting or processing is advantageous.

• Understanding of RESPA guidelines and all mortgage and consumer regulations.

• Proficient in DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows.

• Strong math and analytical abilities.

• Outstanding communication skills.

• Excellent prioritization and time management skills to adhere to deadlines.

• A license is required to discuss loan programs and costs with borrowers.
