Production Business Relationship Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead Conversion Excellence by overseeing the mid-funnel pipeline to meet target Indication-to-Bind conversion rates.

• Accelerate Average Days to Bind by instilling a sense of urgency with partners.

• Offer real-time insights into deal progress and define clear next steps.

• Serve as the main point of contact for agents following indication.

• Convey requirements, timelines, and expectations to agents.

• Educate partners on Cover Whale’s criteria for a bind-ready submission.

• Ensure agents adhere to timeline discipline.

• Validate the completeness of submissions and confirm agent intent.

• Early disqualification of non-viable or low-quality opportunities to safeguard Underwriting capacity.

• Reduce kickback rates resulting from missing or incomplete information.

• Ensure CRM accuracy across Indicated, Quoted, and Pending Bind stages.

• Deliver weekly insights on pipeline aging and conversion trends to leadership.

• Implement renewal retention strategies to achieve target retention conversion rates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred experience in the insurance or MGA sector, particularly in commercial auto/trucking/logistics.

• Understanding of underwriting processes.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or sales operations.

• Assertive and decisive in managing timelines.

• Strong commercial judgment to advance, pause, or disqualify deals.

• A commitment to owning conversion outcomes fully.

• A process-oriented mindset.

• Analytical approach to problem-solving.

• Proficiency in using HubSpot, Excel, and Google Sheets for tracking KPIs and delivering pipeline insights.
