This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide technical support to the market sales team for product inquiries.
• Assist in promoting Axalta products across Premium, Mainstream, and Economy segments to drive growth and enhance customer loyalty.
• Develop and train distributor personnel who serve collision shop clients.
• Oversee new customer installations, train and certify painters, and address technical challenges.
• Organize refinisher meetings, lunch and learn sessions, WOW events, and counter clinics.
• Advocate for safe product application and the use of personal protective equipment.
• Complete ongoing training, assessments, and certifications related to Axalta brands and technologies.
• Utilize Axalta paint and material account management tools to assist key accounts.
• Strengthen Axalta’s technical support network by collaborating with shop personnel.
• Manage selling expenses within the allocated budget.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and association activities.
• Work collaboratively with peers and resources to fulfill customer requirements and document progress.
• Maintain a flexible schedule and travel to customer locations as needed.
• High School Diploma is mandatory.
• Certification or training in collision repair (refinish or paint application) is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of industry experience is required.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
• A valid Driver’s License is necessary.
• Proficient computer skills and effective use of e-mail, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are essential.
• Knowledge of body shop operations and application equipment is important.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, along with effective presentation abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills are required.
• Ability to collaborate as a contributing member of a high-performing sales team.
• Skills to sell, influence, and negotiate with customers are critical.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• A strong business background and customer focus are necessary.
• Ability to network both internally and externally with customers.
• Capability to interpret customer needs accurately.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time is required.
• Must maintain a local presence in Georgia.
