Product Specialist, Agriculture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Halter’s products and development initiatives in Australia.

• Collaborate closely with Halter HQ in New Zealand and farmers to ensure product value.

• Provide valuable insights and feedback to the product team regarding priorities and farmer requirements.

• Lead projects for product innovation and expansion from initial design through to execution and completion.

• Share expertise regarding Australian farms, livestock, and virtual fencing throughout Halter.

• Work alongside Business Development and Account Management teams.

• Initiate enhancements to products that benefit both farmers and animals.

• Collaborate with strategic customers to maximize product usage and value.

• Establish virtual fencing for new farmers across Australia.

• Travel frequently as part of the role.

• Based in Western Australia.

• Relevant farming experience is essential.

• Strong passion for animals and the future of agriculture.

• Interest in agri-tech and proficiency with technology.

• Eagerness to learn the intricate details and functionality of the product.

• Experience in leading cross-functional projects or conducting research trials.

• Demonstrated ability to think critically and arrive at innovative solutions.

• Capacity to operate with autonomy and navigate ambiguity.

• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally, including weekends.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
