This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee and govern the TAN investment advisory product shelf, ensuring product availability, manager lists, documentation, and ongoing maintenance.

• Act as the primary point of contact for advisors, firm CIOs, and business requests related to new investment solutions, managers, platforms, and product capabilities.

• Manage initial and ongoing due diligence reviews with both internal due diligence teams and external research providers.

• Facilitate review and decision-making processes without conducting investment due diligence.

• Assess product shelf gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for enhancement, recommending improvements to competitiveness, advisor adoption, and client outcomes.

• Lead the evaluation and coordination of complex product requests, including SMAs, UMAs, alternatives, exchange funds, options-based strategies, private market solutions, and other specialized investment offerings.

• Provide guidance to TAN firm CIOs, advisors, and internal stakeholders regarding product capabilities, eligibility requirements, implementation considerations, and suitable use cases.

• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams to facilitate product approval, implementation, governance, and ongoing oversight.

• Monitor industry trends, competitive platforms, emerging investment solutions, and advisor demand to pinpoint opportunities for product enhancement.

• Represent the advisory product shelf and business requirements in strategic initiatives, platform enhancement efforts, and cross-functional projects.

• Work alongside Distribution, Product Management, and Wealth Management leadership to ensure alignment with enterprise strategy and advisor needs.

• Promote continuous improvement, employee engagement, and a commitment to advisors and clients.

• Report to the Complex Investment Solutions Manager.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.

• At least 7 years of experience in investment product management, investment platform administration, advisory support, due diligence support, wealth management, asset management, or similar financial services roles.

• FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 (or Series 63/65) required or to be obtained within 90 days of hire/transfer.

• Strong understanding of managed accounts, mutual funds, ETFs, model portfolios, SMAs, UMAs, and alternative investments.

• Knowledge of investment advisory platforms, RIA business models, and advisor distribution channels.

• Familiarity with product governance, product approval, and due diligence processes.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.

• Capacity to identify advisor needs and translate those into actionable product solutions.

• Ability to navigate organizational boundaries and influence business outcomes without direct authority.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver presentations.

• Proven relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a dynamic environment.

• MBA preferred.

• Advanced financial services designations preferred, such as CFA, CAIA, CFP®, or ChFC®.

• Experience supporting an RIA platform, broker-dealer, TAMP, custodian, or wealth management platform preferred.

• Experience with alternative investments, private markets, and sophisticated wealth management solutions preferred.
